In the case of a traditional study group, only those who were in the room working on it will benefit from it (unless someone in the group hands the answers over to a friend). Slippery slope. When working in a study group, don't participants work through problems together and collaboratively come up with a solution? I'm not sure if the media is spinning this or if it really is as simple as it seems. The story seems to suggest that the professor found something which indicated complete solutions were posted on the site. However, what I've read indicates that was never the case. If this is truly just a "study group" for the digital age, it does nothing other than affect a larger group of students than the old, personal version used to affect.
