I’ve found that I use my blog more for my own reflection than anything else anymore. I have (had?) a lot of readers, but not always many who felt comfortable commenting… and I’m okay with that. I guess I use tools like Twitter more for the conversations.
For a while, I panicked about losing my blog readership. The nature of my job (the one I’m leaving) makes it really difficult to be consistent from about February through June. My stats are usually WAY down then. Once I got over the “stats greed,” I realized that the blog is for ME. If anyone gains anything from it, that’s great. If not, I’m still learning from writing it.
