Wow was that shallow. Who forced you to endure that?
@Ed - She was a featured speaker at the annual conference of UCEA (the organization of doctoral granting ed. leadership programs). Nobody forced me to go, but based on her scholarship, I expected better.
I always think that many of these academics think the rest of us so simple that we need these basics explained to us. Like if you didn’t get that principles at BoldApproach.org are the obvious answer, or if you thought that NCLB was a best compromise; then you are just not quite informed enough and need these remedial Intro to Humanity lessons.
Still, at least she was near to the problem. Perhaps Bill Cosby should have been invited.
