About this Blog

Albert Shanker, the late president of the American Federation of Teachers, observed that, “Schools are the last unreformed institution from the 19th Century which are about to trundle, unchanged, into the 21st Century.” Reform efforts at all levels of our educational system tinker (at best) at the margins, and the institution of public schooling continues to wallow in the status quo.

As a professor of educational leadership, I am using this blog as a space to be a public intellectual; a place for me to share my thoughts and ideas on issues that lie at the intersection of at least three areas:

  • Educational Policy
  • Educational Leadership
  • Educational Technology

I found your site in a search for a review on Promethean. Lots of good stuff here. Perhaps I’m missing something, but I couldn’t find a search button or a contact page.

Parts 3 and 4 of your Marzano review return a 404 not found error. If I click again I will be fulfilling your definition of Insanity. Could you send me the two middle parts please? Thank you.
